Yingarna, Woma female. New acquisition, bred in 2008/9. 7 healthy-looking eggs. A decent, docile personality. Eats f/t occasionally, but prefers live. A regular feeder.
Tiamat, normal ball python female, bred in 2007/8, bred in 2008/9. This big girl is an extremely avid feeder on f/t rats, and has an extremely nice personality. Assertive but never aggressive or defensive,
and extremely handleable. Little protest when removed from a clutch...she seemed relieved, actually, after being lifted from her THIRTEEN FERTILE EGGS in 2008! 2009 clutch of 10 were mostly slugs, and proved infertile.
Kalika, normal ball python female, bred in 2007/8, breeding in 2008/9 season. This girl has a somewhat shy but docile and handleable temperment, and is a regular feeder on f/t rats. This good mama turns into a spitfire
just once a year--in active defense of her eggs! A nice clutch of 7 eggs in 2008--all fertile. A great job for a first-time mom!
Yemaya, "chocolate hypo (burgundy?)" ball python female, bred in 2007/8, bred in 2008/9. This girl is an extremely avid feeder on f/t rats, and has a nice, gentle personality. She doesn't even protest when removed from an egg clutch!
An ample clutch of 9 eggs, 6 fertile, in 2008. 7 nice eggs in 2009. This snake has been an ambassador animal, and visited with schoolchildren.
Darla, het albino female. New acquisition, breding in 2008/9. Eats f/t rats with gusto, and has a docile personality. 7 nice eggs in 2009.
Drucilla, het albino female. New acquisition, breeding in 2008/9 season. Eats f/t rats with gusto, and has a docile personality. 5 nice eggs in 2009.
Durga, normal female. New acquisition, breeding in 2008/9 season. Eats f/t rats. This interesting girl always seems to be on the move--always gentle, and has never struck. She always seems to be looking for something,
and moving about with her head raised, and is always right there to come out of the bin when you open it. This roaming behavior was most extreme during the breeding season. This girl goes off feed early in the breeding season.
Hathor, normal female. New acquisition, breeding in 2008/9 season. A nice, docile personality, she is more active and curious than most ball pythons. Eats f/t rats. A regular feeder. 7 nice eggs in 2009.
Nina, normal female. New acquisition, breeding in 2008/9 season. A shy girl who we believe has not been handled much in her past, but is non-aggressive. Eats live rats. 7 nice eggs in 2009.
Uzume, 'special' female. New acquisition, breeding in 2008/9 season. (Opaque in this photo). Eats f/t occasionally, and has a shy but docile personality. A regular feeder. 7 nice eggs in 2009.
Tohu, normal female. New acquisition, bred in 2008/9. A huge, dark girl with a shy but gentle temperment. Eats live rats. A regular feeder. Continues feeding right up til close to ovulation time. Aggressive in defense of eggs.

Cybele, normal female. New acquisition, held back for 2009/2010 season (weight too light for 2008/2009). A shy girl who we believe has not been handled much in her past, but is non-aggressive. Eats live rats.
